The Munich Network for Health Care Research - MobilE-Net is a joint project which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The scientific leadership is at the Institute for Medical Information Processing, Biometry, and Epidemiology (IBE), situated at the LMU Munich. MobilE-Net completed a first funding phase (2017 until 2020) and now is in the second funding, which is running until 2023.

Our research

MobilE-Net currently runs four research projects at the LMU Munich, the Helmholtz Center Munich, the Technical University of Munich and the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences in close collaboration with partners from medical care, health insurances, research institutions and public authorities. Our goal is to improve mobility and social participation by improving health care of patients with joint diseases and vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders.

Our network

Our goal is to strengthen health care research in the wider Munich area by establishing a structured network of key institutions and stakeholders.

Our teaching activities

MobilE-Net is working on establishing health care research in current teaching activities by hosting the Spring School Health Care Research on a yearly basis. Further events are planned.
